See the 2D drawing
The plan is already in the model — you just switch to it.
Step 1
Open the viewport chip and switch to 2D
Top-left of the viewport — it shows the current view settings.
Under View, pick 2D.
Under Style, pick the Drawing icon — that's what turns the view into linework. Cuts, hatches and lines all come from the model.

Try the other cut planes
XY, YZ and ZX give you plans, sections and elevations. Drag the dashed line in the minimap (top-right) to slide the cut, or click its arrow to flip which way it looks.
